Offerings
Each family will have their own unique postpartum experience that will require me, as your postpartum doula, to show up differently. There is no such thing as “one size fits all” postpartum support! Bespoke, tailored support is a non-negotiable.
However, the core values of all my postpartum offerings remain the same: to nourish, hold and support you through the transformative shift that is early parenthood.
If you are seeking postpartum support that is grounded in connection, that honours the tenderness and sacredness of this season and that centres you as an integral part of your family’s wellbeing — let’s chat.

One-off, in-person daytime sessions lasting three hours. An excellent gift for a family member or friend who is preparing to birth their baby.
These sessions offer the opportunity to receive deeper rest and support as you nestle into a new routine with your little one(s).
I will meet you where you are at on the day of the visit and offer the support you require on the day, which may involve any or all of the following:
a home cooked meal (at least 2 serves) and a sweet or snack;
light housework and care of older sibling(s);
carving out the space and time for your own self-care (bath, rest, massage);
holding compassionate space for you to process your birth or postpartum experience; and
sharing community resources and guidance around newborn care.
Investment: $350

For those seeking continuity of care in the tender postpartum season, I offer extended 1:1 postpartum support for 6, 10 or 12 weeks. Typically this involves one three-hour visit per week over the chosen time period.
While the exact nature of support looks different for each person, it often includes the following:
practical support such as running errands, light housework and caring for older sibling(s);
nourishing you with postpartum-friendly meals and snacks;
emotional support such as holding compassionate space for you to process your birth and/or postpartum experiences and lending a non-judgemental ear to help you tune out the ‘noise’;
informational support such as referrals to relevant allied health professionals and providing evidence-based guidance around newborn care;
helping connect you with fellow like-minded families, classes and groups;
facilitating a Closing of the Bones Ceremony that honours, celebrates and invites you back into your (divine) body.
Please note: Engaging a postpartum doula is a deeply personal experience that should be grounded in authentic connection between you (as the new mother) and myself (as your doula). You'll get the most out of me if you feel comfortable opening up to me. As such, all my packages include time allocated for regular catch-ups to allow us to get to know each other better, before your postpartum journey begins.
Investment:
6 weeks I $1,750
// includes: 18 hours of in-person support, regular catch-ups before postpartum, and 12 hours cooking/sourcing groceries
10 weeks I $2,750
// includes: 30 hours of in-person support, regular catch-ups before postpartum, and 20 hours cooking/sourcing groceries
12 weeks I $3,350
// includes: 36 hours of in-person support, regular catch-ups before postpartum, and 24 hours cooking/sourcing groceries

A Closing of the Bones is a postpartum healing ceremony that aims to gently invite a new mother back into her body, closing back up everything that was required to open up during pregnancy and birth (both physically and emotionally).
I offer this through a combination of:
massaging the abdominal area, with a focus on your hips, pubic area and stomach; and
gently wrapping key parts of your body from head to toe in shawls (commonly referred to as “rebozos”), so you can indulge in the sensation of being held and supported.
The practice has its origins in many non-Western cultures including Mexico, Ecuador, Tunisia, Russia and Morocco - where postpartum mothers were, and still are, anointed, massaged and wrapped.
When done in the first 40 days postpartum, the massage may have the added benefits of encouraging the bladder and uterus to go back to place and help to release tension.
However, quite aside from these physical benefits, the practice offers you the chance to go inwards, a pause to the outward energy that mothering often demands and an opportunity to be held for a little while - by the cloth and by myself, as the woman holding the space for you.
Whilst it’s ideal for new mothers, this practice isn’t limited to them and can be beneficial for women who birthed many months or years ago.
The ceremony is traditionally performed at my home, to enable you to relax in a child-free space free from distractions. Broadly speaking, it involves:
Guided meditation on arrival, to ease you into the space
Abdominal massage
Gentle wrapping of key areas of your body with rebozos
Tea and an opportunity to debrief
A nurturing, supportive environment at my home, free of distractions
Other meaningful rituals personal to you may be incorporated into the ceremony with prior notice
Investment: $199 (inclusive of tea and a snack and all materials required)

Compassionate and non-judgemental support (in-person or virtual) through your experiences of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
A: Pregnancy
For those seeking compassionate, emotionally-attuned support as they navigate their pregnancy. We can explore available care models, talk through any challenges you may be facing (including any fears) and ritualise practices that ground and calm you in this tender time.
B: Birth Preparation
Practical and emotional guidance as you prepare to traverse your labour and birth. In addition to (or in place of) supporting you to get clear on your ‘birth plan/map’ (which is typically outwards-focused and shared with care providers), we can use these sessions to delve deeper into how you wish to show up for yourself during labour by exploring your birth ‘intentions and values’. You'll also receive a personalised list of 'birth intentions' following the session(s).
C: Postpartum Planning
For those who wish to approach their postpartum mindfully and intentionally. We will explore the foundations of essential postpartum care including building community, infant feeding, sleep, grounding practices and much more. The goal: to arm you with the tools and insight for a more easeful, connected and supported postpartum experience.
Investment: $160 initial / $115 ongoing (90 minute in-person or virtual sessions)
